All Staff Meeting
Integrating Technology into the classroom--Using the document Camera
STEP Team instructed on how to use a document camera to instruct students with multiple and severe disabilities.
This workshop was recieved highly by the staff members. The team felt that this workshop was beneficial to the staff because it is another way to present information for all students, including students with visual impairments.
May 18, 19, 20, 2010-- Wikispace Portfolio Showcase
**STEP team gave small group professional developments on their projects by doing a wikispace gallery. Each member presented 2 or more projects from thier wikispaces. Each level (elementary, intermediate, and secondary) were given a professional development meeting by 1 or 2 members of the step team.
Staff members who attended the professional developments were interested in how they could use the technology that was presented to them (wikispaces, glogster, voicethread, photo stories, and document cameras) in their classrooms.
